I picked this hotel mainly for its proximity to the pleasure beach but I’m so glad I chose it. It’s a 5 minute walk to the pleasure beach, there’s a tram stop within a couple of hundred meters away & an abundance of cafes & shops on the door step. We were met by the owners with a warm friendly welcome, the room was a good size compared to others I’ve stayed in in Blackpool & the bathroom was 3 times the size of a normal B&B bathroom. We we’re in a triple room so had a double & a single bed, both were comfy & were dressed nicely. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve had in Blackpool, a good choice of cereal, yoghurts & freshly cooked hot food. The full English was the perfect size to ward off last night’s hangover but not so big that you can’t move for the rest of the day! What makes The Wescoe stand out from the crowd is the little personal touches. The room had a set of hair straighteners & a mini fridge, there was a pair of scissors at each breakfast table so you didn’t get covered in sauce when opening the little sachets and the hosts took the time to chat & help refine our plans. I was there for my birthday & my breakfast came with a candle in it. All in all this is a lovely little b&b, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

“We stayed here for just a two night break and it was lovely. Our superior room was probably the biggest room we’ve ever had in Blackpool (most rooms in the town are tiny aren’t they?).It was spotlessly clean. The Wescoe is definitely in the nicer part of Blackpool, Just yards off the prom but also just far enough away from the hustle if you want to relax. Guaranteed parking is a massive plus too. Beware if you’re going to another place that advertises ‘free parking’. What some of them don’t tell you is that it’s first come first served and if you get there once the car park is full you’ll have to drive off and search for a car park (and pay!). No such problems here. Lovely quality breakfast served too. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back next time we’re in Blackpool.”

“Comfortable stay with lovely owners.”

The owners of the hotel were very friendly and it did not feel like if I needed something I could not ask. Their breakfasts are value for money too. 10/10
